Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of work stress on employee performance at PT.SucofindoPekanbaru branch. This research is a causal comparative study. The population of this study was 53 and used a sample of 53 respondents. The data used are primary data in the form of a questionnaire. Before doing the research, first the instrument was tested with validity and reliability tests involving 53 employees of PT. SucofindoPekanbaru Branch. The results of this study indicate a negative on effect of Job Stress on Employee Performance at PT. SucofindoPekanbaru Branch. From the research results it is known that the Job Stress variable (X) has a relationship with the Employee Performance variable (Y) with a correlation value (R) 0736 so that it has a significant and positive effect. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.541. This is determined by employee performance, while the rest is 0.49. Other variables were determined which were not examined in this study.
