Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of biographical characteristics on the performance of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan employees in Pekanbaru. The sample is taken by non probability sampling with sampling method by making the entire population into a sample, which in this case the selected respondents are respondents who work in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Pekanbaru Kota. The samples taken in this study were 41 people. Data processing is done by using SPSS 24 software. With the results of the study the value of correlation coefficient is 0.588 in the "moderate" correlation category. Based on linear regression analysis found the regression equation Y = 7.978 + 0.383X with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. That is, there are effect on the biographical characteristics of the Employee Performance of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in Pekanbaru. The results of the coefficient of determination show the effect of Biographical Characteristics variables on the Performance variable is 34.6% and 65.4% influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
