Abstract
This study aims to find out (1) the number of non performing loan at PT. BPR Arsham Sejahtera Pekanbaru in 2014-2017, (2) What policies are carried out by banks to overcome non performing loan at PT. BPR Arsham Sejahtera Pekanbaru. Data is collected by interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed by case study analysis with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show (1) the number of problem loans PT. BPR Arsham Sejahtera in 2014 reached 23.5%, then decreased in 2015 to 14.8%, then improved in 2016 to decline to 10.87%, and in 2017 it again increased to 12.35%. (2) Policies carried out to overcome non performing loan at PT. BPR Arsham Sejahtera Pekanbaru is Rescheduling, Reconditioning, restructuring, Execution (collateral execution by the court), and selling collateral in a family manner.
