Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the strategy of developing the Sorik River lake tourism object and to analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the development of the Sorik River lake tourism object, Kuantan Singingi Regency. In this study, researchers used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Sorik River lake tourism data and information were obtained from primary and secondary data. The data analysis method carried out in this study used a qualitative descriptive method, then the SWOT analysis technique was used. The results showed that the Sorik River lake tourism in Kuantan Singingi Regency has the potential to be developed, based on the SWOT Matrix the appropriate strategy to develop Sorik River lake tourism is the SO strategy, which is to take opportunities with the strengths that exist in Sorik River lake tourism.
