Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the quality control of CPO production in PT. Surya Agrolika Reksa in an effort to control the level of product damage. Research methods and analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive analysis with SPC(Statitical Process Control) techniques. As for the technique of collecting data in the form of interview, documentation and observation at PT. Surya Agrolika Reksa Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. The results of the study show that the quality control of CPO production in PT. Surya Agrolika Reksa power in an effort to control the level of product damage has not gone well. In general, the main factors that cause damage are caused by raw material, human and machine factors. Besides that the work method, discipline and work environment also affect the quality of CPO (Crude Palm Oil) and PKO (Palm Kernel Oil) produced. Analysis using the pareto diagram shows the most dominabt type of damage that occurs in CPO (Crude Palm Oil) products is FFA (Free Fatty Acid Content) with a percentage of damage that is 75.00% of all damage, while the most dominant type of PKO (Palm Kernel Oil) product damage is KP (Kernel Rupture) with the percentage of damage is 75.01% of all damage. Analysis of the control chart p on damage to CPO and PKO product can be seen many irregular points and are outside the control limits so that the production process is not said to be in good control.
