Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of exports, imports and foreign debt on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves in 2002-2017. The data used in the study is secondary data. The data analysis method used is in processing the results of this study is a method of multiple regression analysis where the method is used to measure the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results of the study show that the value of R² is 0.972382. This means that 97% of the independent variables (exports, imports and foreign debt) have represented to explain the non-free variable (foreign exchange reserves). While the remaining 3% is explained by other variables outside the model. Furthermore, seen from the coefficient of independent variables and the T test (Partial), it can be seen that the foreign debt variable (X3) does not affect Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves while Export (X1) and Import (X2) have a significant influence on foreign exchange reserves in Indonesia. While based on the F (Simultaneous) test the three independent variables simultaneously have a significant influence on Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves in 2002-2017.
