Abstract

This research was conducted in the Rumbai Pesisir sub-district in May 2016 the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of family programs on fertility levels, this study used primary data and secondary data. Analysis of the data used in this study is descriptive analysis. The population of this study were all Fertile Age Couples (PUS), especially PUS wives in Rumbai Pesisir Subdistrict, and the sample of this study was EFA which was in Rumbai Pesisir District which was taken by Stratified Random Sampling, in which the population numbered 13,280) according to age of EFA. The method used in this study is the method of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the study support the first variable that the KB acceptor variable (X1) has a positive and not significant effect on Fertility (Y). This is indicated by the regression coefficient of 0.315423. The results of the study support the second variable that the Income Level variable (X2) has a positive and not significant effect on Fertility (Y), this is indicated by the regression coefficient value of 2.023704. The results of the study support the third variable that the First Marriage Age variable (X3) has a positive and significant effect on Fertility (Y), this is indicated by the regression coefficient value of 0.060346. The constant (b0) is 12.06409, which means the amount if the KB acceptor, income level, and first marriage age are equal to 0 is -12.06409 soul / year.
