Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of job performance appraisal on promotion of office employees of PT. Adimulia Agrolestari Kuantan Singingi Regency. In this study the data used are primary data, namely data that can be obtained directly through interviews and questionnaires to respondents and secondary data, namely information or data obtained from documents and reports related to PT. Adimulia Agrolestari. While the sample used in this study were 40 respondents. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively and quantitatively with the census method. The data in this study were obtained from questionnaires (primary), interviews with related parties directly in accordance with the research objectives. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression with the help of the SPSS 25 for windows application. The results of this study indicate that partially job performance appraisal has a positive and significant effect on job promotion at PT. Adimulia Agrolestari with t count 2.563> t table 2.024 so that HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. While the contribution given to this study was obtained as much as 0.147 or 14.7%, while the amount of 85.3% was influenced by other factors that were not discussed in this study.
