Abstract
The study was entitled “government investment and expense analysis of the gross domestic product (PDRB) in Siak district. The study aims to analyze the impact that government investments and expenditures may have on the gross domestic product in Siak district in 2010-2019. This study uses secondary data with the population is all the data from the government’s investment and expenditures on regional gross domestic products in Siak district. On the basis of variables used, investment (X1) and government expenditure (X2) of regional gross domestic product (Y) in Siak district during the 2010-2019 period. The result show that investment (X1) has a positive and significant impact on PDRB (Y) in Siak district with a coefficient value of 0.003260 with a significant 0.0553 (<0.05). While government spending (X2) has a negative and significant effect on PDRB (Y) in Siak district with a coefficient value of -0.052699 with a significant 0.0557 (<0.05). And based on the result of the show that an F by 0.096837 (<0.05) with a coefficient probability of 0.0000 means an investment variable (X1) and government spending together (X2) significantly affect PDRB (Y) in Siak district.
