Abstract

Guava honey green deli is one of the agricultural commodities has a high economic value. This study aims to analyze: (1) characteristics of green guava honey farmers, (2) facilities and infrastructure sub-systems production (3) farming sub-systems, (4) marketing sub-systems, and (5) sub-systems supporting institution. This study uses a survey method, which takes place in the District of Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru. Farmer respondents were taken in census as many as 6 people, while the merchant sample is taken by intentional (purposive sampling) as many as 3 people. Data analysis in this study using descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. The results of the analysis are obtained: (1) farmers' characteristics of green deli honey are: farmer's age, which is 37 years (productive age), 14 years of education (College), experience tried farming for 7 years, and dependents on the farmer's family as many as 1 person. (2) Subsystems providing production inputs, inputs used in farming green guava honey deli like land originating from own land, whereas inputs, tools and machines came from inputs and agricultural equipment shops around location, (3) In the farming business sub-system obtained: (a) Production costs issued per land area per year which is Rp. 29,693,284, consisting of variable costs Rp. 24,562,313 and fixed costs Rp. 5,130,971 (b) production of 3,683 kg and gross income was obtained at Rp 92,083,333 and income net amounting to Rp 62,390,049 (c) Green guava honey farming profitable and feasible to be cultivated with RCR value of 3.10. (4) At sub marketing system there are 2 marketing institutions involved, namely traders collectors and retailers. There are 2 marketing channels, namely from farmers -> collectors -> retailers, and from farmers -> retailers. Channel marketing to II (Ep = 4.80%) is more efficient than channel I (Ep = 5.19%). (5) Supporting institutions involved in the deli honey guava agribusiness system green is a financial institution, namely banking and leasing institutions. Second these institutions play a role in providing credit to farmers and traders in purchasing capital goods.
