Abstract

The title of the research is the implementation of art and culture learning (Saman dance) in class VIII.C SMP Negeri 2 Rengat 2018/2019. The problem of this research is how is the implementation of art and culture learning (Saman dance) in class VIII.C SMP Negeri 2 Rengat 2018/2019 ?. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of learning arts and culture (Saman dance) in class VIII.C of SMP Negeri 2 Rengat. This research method is descriptive analysis using qualitative data. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. The results of the research on the implementation of art and culture learning (Saman dance) in class VIII.C SMP Negeri 2 Rengat 2018/2019 namely: 1). The activity of students to dare to learn on their own after what is explained and given by the teacher. 2). There is good reciprocity between teacher and student. 3). With the cooperation between groups of students exchanging ideas and helping each other and giving each other knowledge and abilities. 4). The learning process carried out in accordance with the rules and directives makes the students' grades and the feedback given increases and looks good.
