Abstract

In an effort to increase the oil lifting is often constrained by various factors. Temperature, and salinity are influential in oil production. To see the effect of temperature, and salinity is done is laboratory test with spontaneous imbibition method. Spontaneous Imbibition Test in a test to see effect of temperature, salinity and time. the Core used in this study carbonate. The problem discussed in this research is to determine the effect or temperature, salinity and time on recovery factor (RF). In addition, the problems discussed in this study to compare actual data such as research data that has been done with predictive data using respond surface method (RSM) software. Based on the research of laboratory studies on the effect on the temperature, salinity, and time on recovery factor (RF) using spontaneous imbibition method, it was found thet from the three parameters that are very influential on the recovery factor is salinity concentration. number of experiment obtained conducted was 20 experiment, was obtained in the fourth experiment to obtain the largest recovery factor (RF) that is 37 C, salinity 25000 ppm, and time for 5 hours. Experimental result are also in run using software response surface method (RSM) to find the actual data (observation) with data prediction. The result of Q2 and R2 obtained have almost 80% value.
