Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim to know the laboratory profile andcompetency of manager teacher of science / biology laboratory SMPS Islam Plus Jannatul Firdaus in academic year 2017/2018. This research is a quantitative descriptive analysis research. The data of this research were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and documents. The results of this research indicated the condition of the resources capacity of laboratory equipments of IPA / Biology of SMPS Islam Plus Jannatul Firdaus which had been eligible that specified.Facilities of infrastructure resourcesin the laboratory room of IPA / Biology had been eligible that specified (86,02%) with very complete category.The competency of manager teacher of IPA / Biology each aspect in succession obtained percentage that is: qualification aspect is 50% with competent enough category, personality competence obtained percentage88,73% with very competent category, Social competence obtained 100% with verycompetent category, managerial competenceobtained percentage 50,33% competent enough, and professional competence 80,55% withcompetent category. Thus, it can be concluded that the facility of resources facilities of IPA / Biology laboratoryof SMPS Islam Plus Jannatul Firdaus obtained a wholeof percentage86,02% very good category according to Permendiknas no. 24 Year 2007 and teacher competency manager of laboratoryIPA / Biology SMPS Islam Plus Jannatul Firdaus Academic Year 2017/2018obtained percentage overall 70,82% competent category.
