Abstract

Objective of this research is to find out the significant effective of Using Smartphone Video Camera on the speaking skill. Smartphone Video Camerea is teaching process give students the chances to express their thought anytime and anywhere. Giving more suitable and useful of teaching in the classroom where make develop students’ skill especially in speaking process. This research was the experimental research. Research sample was experimental group and control group. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students’ of Senior High School 1 West Rengat 2017/2018 academic years. The sample is cluster random sampling. Instruments which included pre-test and post-test. The data were analyzed by using paired sample t-test from SPSS 24 program. The data of both pre-test and post-test from experimental class and control class were also compared. The result of t-test of the post-test shows that tobs was 11.118>ttable at level of significant 5% is 1.675 and tobs at level of significant 1% was 2.401. In other word, tobs>ttable. It means that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using smarthphone video camera towards the eleventh grade students’ speaking skill at Senior High School 1 West Rengat.
