Abstract

The highest narcotics abuse in Riau Province is Pekanbaru City. One that makes the city of Pekanbaru the most drug abuse area in Riau Province is because the city of Pekanbaru is the capital of Riau Province and is the heart of Riau Province. Particularly in the city of Pekanbaru, there are places where drug abuse cases are often found, namely in Kampung Dalam Village, Senapelan District. From the data in 2015 to 2017 the number of narcotics abusers fluctuated, the highest in 2015 amounted to 136 people, in 2016 the number dropped to 52 people and rose again in 2017 to 61 people. The concept of the theory that I use is Role. This study aims to determine the extent of the role of BNNK Pekanbaru in tackling narcotics abuse in Kampung Dalam be measured with three indicators, namely: community prevention and empowerment, rehabilitation, and eradication. This type of research is a descriptive survey with qualitative research methods, which is collecting data by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. By collecting data into categories, describing itinto units, synthesizing, and making conclusions, based on this analysis technique researchers assess and concluded that the role of the BNNK Pekanbaru in tackling narcotics abuse in the village was less instrumental in its implementation, it must be optimized again the role played by the Pekanbaru BNNK for the implementation so that in the handling of narcotics abuse can play a good role.
