Abstract

The Sucker Rod Pump is among the oldest types of artificial lift that can lift oil at moderate to low production rates from shallow to medium well depths. SRP has a relatively high efficiency so that it will provide benefits. To get a high profit, it is necessary to make a design that is suitable for the SRP itself. In this study, the SRP design will be carried out using the API RP 11L method and the Mills method, where the data used comes from the Cameo-14 Well of Chevy Field. The purpose of this study is to analyze the SRP based on the API RP 11L method and the Mills method. This research was conducted by using the method of field studies or case studies. The stages of this research method began by preparing secondary data, then calculating the SRP design using the API RP 11L method and the Mills method, after that comparing the results of the two methods. In the SRP design calculations using the API RP 11L method with a flow rate of 50 bpd using the C-25D-67-36 pump type can produce 62.65 bpd of oil, with a flow rate of 75 bpd using the C-40D-89-36 pump type can produce as much oil as 93.47 bpd, and with a flow rate of 100 bpd using the C-80D-109-48 pump type can produce 125.85 bpd of oil. In SRP design calculations using the Mills method with a flow rate of 50 bpd using the C-25D-67-36 pump type can produce 61.57 bpd of oil, with a flow rate of 75 bpd using the C-40D-89-36 pump type can produce 89.57 bpd of oil , and with a flow rate of 100 bpd using the C-57D-109-48 pump type can produce oil of 117.89 bpd.
