Abstract
Based on observations, many students are not serious in participating in the learning process, lack of enthusiasm, feel unhappy about participating in PJOK learning, the learning method is not interesting. This study aims to determine the interest of class VIII students in participating in PJOK learning at SMP Negeri 1 Memepura Siak. This research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study amounted to 53 students. The method used is survey, the data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that students' interest in learning PJOK at SMP Negeri 1 Mempura Siak is categorized as moderate, namely with an average of 38.46%.
