Abstract

The abundant pineapple harvest has not yet been able to increase the community's income due to its very low selling price. A solution to this issue is processing pineapple into value-added products, which not only addresses the low prices but can also become a local icon to attract regional and international tourists while supporting independent food security. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of members of the Small Farmers Group (KPK) Kemuning in Medang Kampai Village, Mundam Sub-district, Dumai City, processing pineapples into high-quality products. The methods include lectures or socialization on pineapple quality and evaluation through Q&A sessions and questionnaires. Evaluation results showed that 85% of participants found this activity highly beneficial, significantly contributing to solving problems and enhancing participants' knowledge and empowerment.
