Abstract
The tendency to develop and utilize the potential of renewable energy resources has recently increased rapidly, especially in developing countries. Alternative energy is actually found all around us. One of them is the TL008 fitness equipment. This fitness equipment can produce kinetic energy without realizing it. Basically, energy cannot be destroyed, but energy can change form into other energy. So that the kinetic energy produced by the TL008 tool can be converted into mechanical energy in the form of a pulling force which can rotate the generator to produce electrical energy. The purpose of this research was to determine the speed of the gears, electrical power, mechanical power and efficiency produced with each pull of the TL008 tool. By using the load variation method and we want to see the power produced by each load. The variations used are 5kg, 10kg, 15kg, 20kg and 25kg. and here we get the best variation produced at a load of 5 kg with the results v: 4.48 m/s, Pout: 1.8 watts, Pin: 429 watts, and Efficiency: 0.81% and for the lowest variation produced at a load of 25 kg with a value of v: 4.0 m/s, Pout: 0.57 watts, Pin: 985 watts, and Efficiency: 0.05%.
