Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the contribution of arm muscle strength and balance to lower passing in volleyball at the Jr Transportation Department Club (JUNIOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICE) Pekanbaru City. The type of research is multiple correlation. The population and sample in this study amounted to 16 athletes. The research instruments used were push-ups, dynamic balance and volleyball passing skills tests. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the following conclusions can be drawn: 1. There is a contribution of arm muscle strength to volleyball underpasses for Pekanbaru City Junior Transportation Department club athletes with a calculated r value = 0.175 < table r value 0.497 with a contribution value of 30.6%. 2. There is a balance contribution to volleyball underpasses for Pekanbaru City Junior Transportation Department club athletes with a calculated r value = 0.184 < r table value 0.497 with a contribution value of 33.8%. 3. There is a balance contribution to volleyball underpasses for Pekanbaru City Junior Transportation Department club athletes with a calculated r value = 2,208 > r table value 0.497 with a contribution value of 48.7%.
