Abstract

The research entitled Teaching Arts and Culture (Offering Dance) Class XI IIS 5 SMAN 2 Mandau, Bengkalis Regency, Academic Year 2022-2023. The problem of this research is how can the teaching of cultural arts (dance offerings) for class XI IIS 5 at SMAN 2 Mandau for the 2022-2023 academic year be carried out properly? The purpose of this study is to find out the Teaching of Cultural Arts (Offering Dance) for Class XI IIS 5 of SMAN 2 Mandau, Bengkalis Regency, for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. KKM in learning arts and culture class XI IIS 5 is 78. The theory used by Oemar Hamalik. The method used in this research is interactive qualitative with descriptive analysis method. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Mandau, Bengkalis Regency. The subjects in this study were one art and culture teacher and 35 students in class XI IIS 5, so the number of research subjects was 36 people. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation in teaching arts and culture. The curriculum used in the process of teaching cultural arts (dance offerings) for class XI IIS 5 is the 2013 Curriculum (K13). The syllabus used already uses the equivalent high school syllabus that has been set by the government. The RPP used by the teacher in teaching arts and culture (dance offerings) class XI IIS 5 is in accordance with the 2013 RPP curriculum. The teaching implementation consists of three stages of activity, namely preliminary activities, core activities, closing activities, and there are 8 meetings. The cultural arts learning method (dance offering) used is the lecture method, discussion method, demonstration method and assignment method. Evaluation of the results of learning arts and culture (dance offerings) for class XI IIS 5 at SMAN 2 Mandau, Bengaklis Regency, there was an increase in its development, this was indicated by the average score of students reaching the KKM.
