Abstract

Series picture was a continued picture. Speaking skill was an aspect of language skill that important to have by every person with did not ignore others language skill. This research used class action research. It that was an activity from teacher or together with others (collaboration) with purpose to rectify or improve quality in classroom learning process. The subject in this research was students’ class IX ant junior high school IT Al Misbah Riau, and the object was implementation of series picture media to improve students’ speaking skill in Arabic learning at junior high school IT Al Misbah Riau. This research was conducted in two cycles. One cycle was done with two meetings. Data collection technique used test and documentation. Research problem that proposed questioned what was the use of series picture media could improve students’ Arabic speaking skill at junior high school IT Al Misbah Riau. The main purpose in this research examined to know what was the use of series picture media could improve students’ Arabic speaking skill at junior high school IT Al Misbah Riau. Research finding showed that in meeting I-II happened improvement average score in 66.35%, meeting II-III in 49% and in meeting III-IV in 38.21%. The percentage of average score improvement in all meeting in 51.19%.
