Abstract

The rainwater cycle is one of the materials contained in elementary science subjects that discuss the process of rain formation. A knowledge of the rainwater cycle is indeed quite difficult to explain because it is a natural phenomenon that is difficult to see but can be felt, because of these problems then designed a learning media using Augmented Reality technology. This application is designed using Blender software to create 3D objects, Unity applications using the ARCore SDK library and using markerless techniques. This markerless technique is used to facilitate users because it does not require markers in displaying 3D animation objects. The test results on distance can be concluded that 3D objects can appear with a minimum distance of 40 cm, besides that the application can also display 3D objects indoors and outdoors with textured tracking locations and has a light intensity above 10 lux. Based on the results of testing on users obtained an accuracy percentage of 88.6% with 19 respondents so that this designed application can be implemented as a learning media for the introduction of the rainwater cycle
