Abstract

This research was conducted in Riau Province, while the objectives of this study were: 1) To analyze the effect of Inflation on the Exchange Rate of Farmers in the Food Crop Subsector in Riau Province. 2) To analyze the effect of production costs on the Exchange Rate of Food Crop Subsectors in Riau Province. 3) To analyze the influence of the area of food crop land on the Exchange Rate of Food Crop Subsector Farmers in Riau Province. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of monthly quantitative figures from January-December 2017 to 2018. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis methods and uses several tests, namely the statistical test and the classical assumption test. Data processed using Eviews 9. From the results of this study note that: 1) Inflation does not significantly influence the Exchange Rate of Farmers in the Food Crop subsector in Riau Province. 2) Production costs do not significantly influence the Exchange Rate of Farmers in the Food Crop subsector in Riau Province. 3) The area of food crops significantly and negatively affects the Exchange Rate of Farmers in the Food Crop subsector in Riau Province.
