Abstract

This research is motivated by symptoms of low writing ability student scientific papers. The formulation of the problem in this research is how the level of creativity of teaching lecturers according to students; how is the level of students' scientific writing ability; is there is an influence of the teaching creativity of the lecturer on the ability to write student scientific work. The purpose of this study is to find out the level of creativity of teaching lecturers according to students; knowing the level of ability to write scientific works of students; the effect of lecturer teaching creativity on the ability to write works scientific student. This type of research is quantitative with approach correlation. Research subjects were students of the Education Study Program Islamic Religion Faculty of Islamic Religion, Riau Islamic University. Population research of 2017 which numbered 119 people and there are samples totaling 92 people. Retrieval of data using a questionnaire and documentation. The results showed that the level of creativity teaching lecturers very well; the level of ability to write scientific papers very good student; hypothesis of the influence of lecturer teaching creativity on the ability to write scientific papers, students are accepted and rated significance of 0,000. as for the effect is strong (0.621 or 62.1%). It can be predicted if the creativity of the lecturers is enhanced then predicted the ability to write scientific papers of students of 0.696 or 69.6%. Vice versa if the creativity of teaching the lecturer decreases automatically it is also predicted to decrease the ability to write scientific papers of students is (0.621 or 62.1%). It can be concluded that the results of this study are influential between the creativity of teaching lecturers to the ability to write works scientific students of the Faculty of Islamic Education Study Program Islamic Religion Riau Islamic University.
