Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between learning discipline and biology learning outcomes based on the level of academic ability of class X IPA students at YLPI Pekanbaru High School in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. The research was conducted in November 2022. This research was a correlational study and data collection used questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The sample in this study were 41 students with different levels of academic ability. Data analysis in this study used the Person Product Moment correlation analysis technique. The results showed that in high academic, learning discipline (X), with learning outcomes (Y) there is a strong relationship (0.626). In moderate academic, learning discipline (X), with learning outcomes (Y) there is a moderate relationship (0.509). In low academic, learning discipline (X), with learning outcomes (Y) there is a moderate relationship (0.523). For significant test scores it was found that at high academic level, learning discipline (X), with learning outcomes (Y) tcount (3.92) > ttable (2.059). In moderate academic, learning discipline (X), with learning outcomes (Y) (3.96) > ttable (2.01). In low academic, learning discipline (X), with learning outcomes (Y) (3.00) > ttable (2.059). The results showed that there was a significant relationship between learning discipline and learning outcomes in biology based on the level of academic ability of class X students at SMA YLPI Pekanbaru in the 2021/2022 academic year.
