Abstract

The Effect of Education and Training on Employee Performance at the Rokan Hilir Regency Personnel and Human Resource Development Agency is a step to improve the performance of a group of people who are under the auspices of the BKPSDM agency. This study aims to determine and explain the effect of education and job training on the performance of BKPSDM employees, the performance of employees at BKPSDM is still experiencing several problems including the number of employees who occupy positions that are not in accordance with their abilities/educational basis and so on. To find out this problem, this study uses several variables where the variables are Education and Training which affect employee performance at BKPSDM Rokan Hilir Regency. The research method uses quantitative research methods as a technique for collecting questionnaire data and direct interviews with informants such asHead of BKPSDM, Secretary of BKPSDM, Administrator Officers, Supervisory Officers, Functional Officers and other general administration. Research results Based on the description of the results of the research and discussion above, the authors conclude that the influence of education and training on the performance of employees of the Civil Service Agency and Human Resources of Rokan Hilir Regency has a "significant effect" that the magnitude of the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.603 or 60.3%. this determination coefficient figure states that education and training in the form of education and training and technical guidance can explain the variable performance of employees at the staffing and human resource development agency in Rokandownstream district, which is equal to 60.3%, while the remaining 39.7% is influenced by other variables that not included in the study.
