Abstract
As a research final project with the title "Analysis System Design Corn Crusher Machine Capacity 30 kg/hour". Corn is a staple material that is often consumed by the community in addition to rice, sago and cassava plants. Corn is generally a staple in the manufacture of animal feed which is widely consumed by large and small breeders. As a staple food for livestock, the level of fineness of milled corn must be adjusted to the age of the animal, whether for fattening or production because it affects livestock growth (Hall, 1983). From the results of this machine design used propulsion power of 3.5 PK / 2.6 kW and 4000 rpm engine speed. Meanwhile, to crush corn, the power required by the shaft is 2 kW.frame made of angled iron measuring 5 x 5 x 2.5 mm, the transmission system uses pulleys, v belts, bearings. With the results of a punch force of 86.5 N and a large blade power on the shaft 1608 watts = 1.6 kW on a corn crusher machine using 6 blades. The shaft diameter is 2.5 cm with the type of shaft material ST 37 and the shaft rotation is 1777 rpm. This machine is very efficient, easy operated to help farmers in general. From the research results, the corn crusher machine can be used for the community.
