Abstract

The importance of carrying out the duties of a village assistant in providing participatory mentoring for the implementation of village government so that the target of mentoring Kepenghuluan Sintong, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency is beneficial for the village administration and the community itself so that later it can improve development in a participatory manner by conducting village assistance. However, there is a problem, namely the ineffectiveness of the tasks of village assistants in Kepenghuluan Sintong, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency in the field of development and equal distribution of facilities and infrastructure. less effective use. The aim of this research is to analyze and evaluate village assistants in carrying out tasks in the field of village development in a participatory manner in Kepenghuluan Sintong, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency and its obstacles. The method used is descriptive and qualitative methods; The informants in this study were the Head of Penghuluan Sintong, Tanah Putih Subdistrict, Rokan Hilir Regency, Village Secretary, Head of Village Development Planning Section, Head of BPD and community leaders. Observation and interview data collection techniques. The results of the research are Evaluation of Village Facilitators in Carrying out Participatory Village Development Tasks in Kepenghuluan Sintong, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency, in the less implemented category. This can be seen from the development that has not been completed in accordance with a predetermined program. Obstacles that occur in the Evaluation of Village Facilitators in Carrying out Participatory Village Development Tasks in Kepenghuluan Sintong, Tanah Putih District, Rokan Hilir Regency, namely the presence of people who do not participate in carrying out development programs, the length of disbursement of funds so that development programs cannot running smoothly and within the Kepenghuluan Sintong Community organization, Tanah Putih District, there are still members who are less active in the development program.
