Abstract
The research aims to produce integrated thematic teaching materials of Riau Malay cultural for students of grade IV Elementary school in Pekanbaru City which is effective. The rise of teaching materials for elementary schools in Pekanbaru city but not supported by Malay Culture content so it is feared that it will cause the elementary school generation to not understand Malay culture. This research is classified as development research and uses the Borg & Gall model. The results showed that the student's response to teaching materials in the category was very good with a figure of 86.20%. So it can be concluded that teaching materials are said to be effective
