Abstract

This study discusses the linguistic and non-linguistic factors of speaking in Ustadz Hanan Attaki's da'wah. Language is one of the means of conveying (media) in preaching. The title of the research is "Analysis of Language and Non-Language Factors Speaking in Ustadz Hanan Attaki's Da'wah". Problem formulation: What are the linguistic and non-linguistic factors in Ustadz Hanan Attaki's lecture. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The theory used in the research is the understanding of speaking, the purpose of speaking, the types of speech, the understanding of language, linguistic and non-linguistic factors, YouTube online media. The data sources for this research are the video transcript of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's lecture entitled “Diam” with a duration of 1:20:49, internet, books. The data collection technique used is literature review and observation. The data analysis technique used is to reduce the presentation of the data and draw conclusions. On the linguistic factor in Ustad Hanan Attaki's da'wah on the aspect of pronunciation accuracy, Ustadz Hanan Attaki articulates language signs effectively. In placing the stress, put the language pressure properly and accordingly. The accuracy of the pressure, tone, joints and duration have become the main attraction of Ustadz Hanan Attaki's da'wah in conveying his da'wah which is quite an expression. In the choice of words, in addition to using the official language in accordance, also using an unofficial language. In the accuracy of the target of the conversation, Ustadz Hanan Attaki is effective in the application of sentences in carrying out a communication. Non-linguistic factors in the aspect of a reasonable, calm and not rigid attitude that Ustadz Hanan Attaki's expression appears in a normal body posture. In the aspect of loudness, adjusting the number of worshipers with the loudspeakers used, this is evidenced by adjusting the response of the congregation to the things conveyed by Ustadz Hanan Attaki. In the aspect of fluency, it has been very smooth and very mastered the atmosphere of da'wah. it's just that in preaching, Ustadz Hanan Attaki occasionally still inserts sounds like /e/, /anu/, /em/, also supports smoothness in preaching.
