Abstract

This research was motivated bysome students’ motivation to use hijab problem at senior high school 1 Pangkalan Kuras, where there are some female students just used hijab when they were in school hours only, and there were some female students used hijab but did not cover their chest and used very short hijab and did not cover their hair. The purpose in this research examined to know the influence of faith to Allah on students’ motivation to use hijab at senior high school 1 Pangkalan Kuras Pelalawan Regency Riau. This research used quantitative with correlational approach. The population in this research took 104 female students with sampling 95 students. Data collection technique used questionnaire and documentation. this research consisted of two variables, X ( Faith to Allah) and Y (female students’ motivation to use hijab). Based on data analysis, it was known that there was any influence of faith to Allah on students’ motivation to use hijab at senior high school 1 Pangkalan Kuras. It was known from the level of faith to Allah was in strong enough score 42.1% and it was in range 40% - 59%, the level of female students’ motivation to use hijab was in very strong score 90.1% and it was in range 80% - 100%. The other result showed that there was any influence of faith to Allah on students’ motivation to use hijab in simple linear regression with significant score 0.000, and 0.000 was smaller than 0,05. And the hypothesis was accepted. The influence of faith to Allah in 0.278 or 27.8% was in low category, it was in range 0.20 – 0.399 that stated in correlation coefficient interpretation table, meanwhile others 72.2% was influence by others factors. It meant that the hypothesis was accepted. The relatonship between faith to Allah on students’ motivation to use hijab in 0.528 or 52.8%, R score (0.528) that was in range 0.40 – 0.699 and it was in middle category. and the relationship between faith to Allah and female students’ motivation to use hijab at senior high school 1 Pangkalan Kuras in “middle” category.
