Abstract
The development of learning media in the form of animated videos, assisted by Plotagon and KineMaster, is included in research and development. The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and practicality of the results of developing instructional media in the form of animated videos, assisted by Plotagon and Kinemaster, on the matrix material of class XI. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) development model proposed by Sugiyono and has been modified by the researcher, which consists of eight stages: potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, product revision, and product end. The instrument used for data collection in this study was a learning media validation sheet whose assessment used a Likert scale and a learning media practicality sheet whose assessment was obtained through a teacher and student response questionnaire. Validation analysis of learning media and practical analysis of learning media were the data analysis techniques used. The results of this study indicate that the learning media in the form of animated videos assisted by Plotagon and KineMaster obtained an average validation of 85% with valid criteria and an average practicality of 89.69% with very practical criteria. Based on the results of research on the development of learning media in the form of animated videos assisted by Plotagon and KineMaster on the matrix material for class XI, it can be concluded that learning media have been produced that are suitable for use or have been tested for validity and practicality.
