Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness profile of the Biology laboratory to support students' practical work at MA Al-Ikhwan, Kulim District, Pekanbaru City. The method used in this study is a survey method to obtain research data. The sample in the study consisted of biology teachers and students of class X, XI and XII IPA, totaling 78 respondents. The research instruments consisted of questionnaires, observation sheets, interview guidelines, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results showed that the readiness of the biology laboratory to support students' practical work at MA Al-Ikhwan, Kulim District, Pekanbaru City based on the observation sheet was in the very complete category with a percentage of 80.75%. This was also supported by a teacher questionnaire with a percentage of 92.5% and a student questionnaire with a percentage of 84.19% in the very appropriate category. Based on the data obtained, it was concluded that the laboratory at MA Al-Ikhwan Pekanbaru was said to be ready to support students' practical work at MA Al-Ikhwan, Kulim District, Pekanbaru City with a percentage of laboratory completeness of 80.75% in the very complete category.
