Abstract

This research was conducted for 30 days starting from July-August with the aim of knowing the effect of using fermented cassava leaf flour and fish meal as well as the best percentage of fermented cassava leaf flour and fish meal on survival and growth survival of gourami seed (Ospronemus gouramy). This study used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL) which consisted of 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment is as follows: P1 Fish Meal 100% P2 Fish Meal 75% + Fermented Cassava Leaves 25% P3 Fish Meal 50% + Fermented Cassava Leaves 50% P4 Fish Meal 25% + Fermented Cassava Leaves 75% P5 Fermented Cassava Leaf Powder 100% . From the parameters measured in this research, the best results were obtained in the P1 treatment, namely giving 100% fish meal pellets. Where survival was 95.56%, absolute weight growth was 2.02 g, length growth was 1.53 cm, daily growth rate was 6.72% and feed conversion was 0.86%. While the water quality parameters during the study were temperature ranging from 28-32 0C, pH 6-7, dissolved oxygen 7.7 – 10.4 mg/l and ammonia 0.00-0.08 mg/l.
