Abstract
The problems in this study : The main ones are still lack of upper passing on volleyball students of class X science 1 SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. The purpose of this study was to determine whether through the playing method there was an increase in upper passing learning on volleyball games. This research is a classroom action research which aims to find out by using the method of play that can improve the upper passing of the volleyball game of class X Science 1 at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci. Samples from this study were 36 students 13 sons and 23 daughters. Based on data processing that researchers have done X science 1 at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci, from a total sample of 36 students, it was concluded that in this study 31 students graduated with a percentage of 86 % and those who did not pass 5 with a percentage of 14 %. Based on the results of the data analysis of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of the method of playing learning can improve the passing of the game of volleyball to students of class X science 1 at SMAN 1 Pangkalan Kerinci.
