Abstract
This research was conducted in Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency with the object of Rantau Baru Village. This study aims to determine how the accountability and transparency of village financial management in Rantau Baru Village. This research is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The resource persons in this study were the Village Head, Village Secretary, and Head of Finance. This data was collected through interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is descriptive statistics. The results of this study are accountability for village financial management in Rantau Baru Village starting from the planning stage, the implementation stage, the administration stage, the reporting and accountability stages are accountable and in accordance with Permendagri No 20 of 2018 and there is already measurable output and income. Transparency is not yet transparent because Rantau Baru village has not yet provided a complaint address so that the community cannot report if someone violates the regulations, it is still difficult for the community to access information regarding incoming and outgoing cash, and the village government does not cooperate with the mass media or existing non-governmental organizations.
