Abstract

The title of this research is "Comparison of Letter Writing Ability Sale and Purchase Agreement for Class XI Science 1 students with XI Science 2 SMA Negeri 1 Stop of the King ". The problem of this research is how the ability of class students XI IPA 1 with XI IPA 2 of SMA Negeri 1 Perhentian Raja in writing letters sale and purchase agreement. From this study aims to determine the level comparison of the ability of each student to write a letter of agreement buying and selling, this is done by collecting data and analyzing the results of the students of class XI IPA 1 with XI IPA 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Perhentian Raja. The data and information collected is described, analyzed and interpreted in detail and systematically so that an overview can be obtained really about comparing students' ability to write letters sale and purchase agreement. The scope of the study is entitled writing skills this sale and purchase agreement falls within the scope of language teaching Indonesia is the writing aspect. The theory used to analyze this research is writing theory (Damlan 2014), writing skills letter speak (Hendry Guntur Tarigan 2008), modern business correspondence (Bagas Pratama and T. Manurung, Soedjito and Solchan 1994). This research population is a class XI IPA1 student with XI IPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Perhentian Raja. The method used is the competitive method that is research comparing the existence of a variable or more on two or more samples different or at different times. The results of this study indicate that the comparison between students of class XI IPA1 with an average of 75.67 categorized enough and XI IPA2 with an average of 70.08 is sufficient. So the hypothesis can be seen from the t-test that t count 0.43 is smaller than t table, i.e. 1,995 then Ho can be received. This means that there are no significant differences in writing a sale and purchase agreement between class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 SMAN 1 Stop of the King.
