Abstract
The development of the territory caused by large population growth leads to an increase in the need for land, causing changes in land use. The rapid development of the arengka commercial central intersection, as well as its strategic location will continue to experience changes in land use continuously every year. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the development of commercial facilities and the factors affecting land use change. The research approach used is a deductive approach with a quantitative descriptive method. The analysis technique used is a spatial analysis technique to obtain the results of changes in the use of arengka commercial central deviated land, the second is a factor analysis technique to obtain factors that affect changes in the use of commercial central arengka interchange land. The results of this study obtained that the 2007 built-up land in the commercial central intersection of Arengka amounted to 122,558 Ha, an increase of 16,157 Ha, bringing the total area of built-up land in 2014 to 138,715 Ha. And in 2021 the increase in built-up land use to 157,323 ha. Factors influencing land use change at the commercial central interchange are topographical factors, accessibility factors, infrastructure availability factors, and economic factors.
