Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction of POC Pomi and Organic NPK on the growth and production of edamame soybeans. The research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kharudin Nasution, KM 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. The study was conducted for four months, from August to November 2021. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD), consisting of two factors, the first factor was the concentration of POC Pomi which consisted of 4 levels, namely: 0, 2, 4 and 6 cc/l water. . The second factor is the dose of Organic NPK which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 20, 40 and 60 g/plant. Parameters observed were: plant height, flowering age, average relative growth rate (LPR), number of pithy pods, weight of young harvested pods, seed weight, and dry weight of 100 seeds. The data from the observations of each treatment were statistically analyzed and continued with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test at the 5% level. The results showed that the effect of POC Pomi and Organic NPK was significant on plant height, flowering age, average relative growth rate (LPR), number of active root nodules, number of pithy pods and weight of young harvested pods. The best treatment was found in POC Pomi 6 cc/l of water and Organic NPK at a dose of 60 g/plant. The main effect of POC Pomi was significant on all plant parameters, with the best treatment being 6 cc/l of water, and the main effect of Organic NPK was significant on all plant parameters. The best treatment is a dose of 60 g/plant.
