Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of student cooperation at SMP IT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the quiz team learning model on student cooperation on Islamic religious education material at SMP IT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative with a correlation approach. The population in this study was 161 students with a sample of 115 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis that there is an influence of the quiz team learning model on student cooperation is accepted with a significance value of 0.000. The level of the quiz team learning model on Islamic Religious Education material at SMP IT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru is 0909 or 90.9%. It can be explained that if the team quiz learning model is increased by 1%, it is predicted that it will be very effective in increasing student cooperation by 90.9%. Conversely, if there is no team quiz learning model in learning by 1%, then student cooperation is also predicted to decrease by 0.909 or 90.9%. And before the team quiz learning model was implemented, the constant value (a) was 1,314, meaning that the level of student cooperation was very low. The magnitude of the effect can be categorized as strong (0.878 or 87.8%). While the remaining 12.2% is influenced by other factors. And the level of relationship between the quiz team learning model and student collaboration is 0.937 or 93.7%, meaning that there is a very strong relationship between the quiz team learning model and student cooperation on Islamic Religious Education material at SMP IT Insan Utama 2 Pekanbaru.
