Abstract
As a first step in entering the world of work, students are required to be able to develop skill, knowledge, understanding and personal attributes as an action in an effort to prevent individual readiness to enter the world of work, so that individuals can compete for the desired job, considering the number of open unemployment rates of universities that are not absorbed in the world of work is increasing from year to year. In line with this, there are several factors that can affect work readiness, one of which is self-efficacy. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and work readiness in final semester students of the Faculty of Psychology, Riau Islamic University. This research involved 175 final semester students selected based on a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis technique uses the Pearson Correlation Product Moment test. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship of 33.1% between self-efficacy and work readiness in final semester students of the Faculty of Psychology, Riau Islamic University (r = 0.331 ; p = 0.000 < 0.05).
