Abstract
This study aims to increase gross motor creativity in children in learning the art of dance through learning while playing strategies in TK Tunggal Lestari. This research is a classroom action research. The research design refers to the Kemmis and McTaggat models, including planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were group B TK Tunggal Lesrai, totaling 16 children, consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. The collaborator of this research was the dance teacher of TK Tunggal Lestari. The data collection technique used is observation. The research instruments were observation sheets and diary notes. the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis both quantitative and qualitative. The criteria for the success of the research action were (1) the comparison before the action and after the action experienced an increase in the creativity aspect and (2) the minimum score achieved in all aspects of creativity was at least 62. The results of the observation before the action showed that the child's creativity score could be increased after being given action through a strategy learning while playing which is applied to learning art.
