Abstract

This study is titled Student Perception of the teaching skills of economic teacher class XI IPS at Bagan Sinembah 1 High School. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive approach. Perception is an analysis or thought aimed at seeing or evaluating an activity that will occur, in this study students analyze the teacher's skills during school hours, can be seen in this study students analyze teachers with good grades or with a good average value from The 8 indicators the teacher with the question category gets a score of 62.94%, from the strengthening indicator 69.20%, from the variation indicator with a score of 61.26%, from the indicator explains 68.58%, from the indicator opens and closes 83.39%, from small group indicators with a score of 69.57, and with individual small group indicators of 70.88%, then the average is 69.22% of teachers in teaching skills. Based on the results of the study, the teacher got a good category with a score of 69.22% with the analysis of students at Bagan Sinembah 1 High School.
