Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interest and readiness of learning on the learning outcomes of students of class X and XI IPS at the Economics Subject at SMAN.1 Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan Kab. Rokan Hilir Kabutaten. This research includes quantitative research. According to Arikunto (2002: 10) quantitative research is the type of research conducted demanded by using numbers, starting from the data collection used in the form of questionnaires. The population in this study was 122 students of class X and XI IPS at the Economics Subject at SMAN.1 Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan in Rokan Hilir Regency, and 93 were sampled. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out on students of class X and XI IPS in Economic Subjects at SMAN.1 Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan in Rokan Hilir Regency, to determine the extent of the influence of learning interest and readiness on learning outcomes of students of class X and XI IPS at Subject Economics at SMAN 1 Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan Rokan Hilir Regency, Significant test using significant formula F test. From the calculation results known F count (8.833)> Ftable (3.097) (α = 0.05). Thus a conclusion can be drawn as follows: There is a high influence of interest and readiness of learning on the learning outcomes of students of class X and XI IPS at the Economic Subject at SMAN.1 Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan in Rokan Hilir Regency.
