Abstract

Child is someone who is still small and is still in his infancy towards adulthood with the age of not yet reaching eighteen years, in his growth period the child must get the fulfillment of the rights he has, including the right to protection, a decent life, and education. However, in living their lives in society, children often become victims in the context of crime and violence, of course, endangering their safety and growth. This study discusses the vulnerability of street children who are victims of sexual violence in the city of Pekanbaru, carried out using qualitative methods, it produces findings that there are at several points on the Pekanbaru street children working street children, coming from different backgrounds, analyzed using the theory of victim typology that vulnerability Children who become victims of sexual violence are physically and mentally weak and the surrounding community does not care about the existence of street children.
