Abstract
The purpose of this study was to study the Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Organizational Commitment on Employee Performance at PT. Media Haluan Mandiri Kota Pekanbaru. The population in this study amounted to 50 employees. While the sampling technique is determined using the census method, which is that all populations are sampled. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and quantitative. To facilitate solving problems. This research was conducted with the method of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with the help of SPSS statistics version 17. Data obtained from interviews and questionnaires using the Multiple Linear formula with the formula Y = a + �1X1 + �2X2 + �. Where Y = 7,824 + 0,401 X1 + 0,445 X2. The calculation results show that X1 represents Emotional Intelligence, X2 represents Organizational Commitment to Employee Performance at PT. Media Haluan Mandiri Kota Pekanbaru. Research Results Show that Emotional Intelligence and Organizational Commitment have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Media Haluan Mandiri Kota Pekanbaru. Obtained Fcount value (15,787 which is greater than ftabel (3,20). Emotional Intelligence on Employee Performance is obtained tcount (4,012). Which is greater than the value of ttable (2,012), Obtained value (Cronbach alpha) Emotional Intelligence (X1) = 0,965, Organizational Commitment amounting to (X2) = 0,988 and performance (Y) = 0,943. The magnitude of the contribution of emotional intelligence and organizational commitment to performance is 40.2% while the remaining 59.8% is influenced by other variables not discussed further in this study. advice that can be given namely Expected PT. Media Haluan Mandiri Kota Pekanbaru can maintain emotional intelligence and organizational commitment of employees applied by the company. To employees to further improve performance at PT. Media Haluan Mandiri Kota Pekanbaru.
