Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of muzakki motivation to pay zakat at national amil zakat agency at rokan hulu regency. Religiousity and belief was a factor to increase muzakki motivation. As for, research problem in this research questioned was there any significant influence between religiosity and belief toward muzakki motivation to pay zakat at national amil zakat agency at Rokan Hilir Regency. The purpose in this research examined to know and understand about the significant influence between religiousity and belief toward muzakki motivation to pay zakat at national amil zakat agency at Rokan Hilir Regency. This research used causal research with quantitative method. Data source in this research used primer and secondary data. Data collection technique used observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis technique used classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, validity test, reliability test and hypothesis test. Hypothesis was a procedure based on evidence used to determine that was hypothesis reasonable and it was accepted or the hypothesis was not reasonable and it was not acceptable. Research finding showed there was any significant between religiousity factor and belief factor toward muzakki motivation to pay zakat at national amil zakat agency at Rokan Hilir Regency. Based on determination coefficient test (R2), the score was 0.694 or 69.4%. it showed that the influence of independent variable (religiousity, belief) toward dependent variable (muzakki motivation) was in 69.4%, meanwhile the others 30.6% was influenced by other variable that was not included in this research.
