Abstract
This research was motivated by the lack of students’ active in Islamic culture history lesson, then some of students was not brave in giving their opinion and asking in front of their friends or teachers when learning process that because of shy and less active. This research focused on the implementation of Meta discovery learning in Islamic culture history lesson. The purpose in this research examined to know the implementation of Meta discovery learning in Islamic culture history lesson. This research used qualitative approach. And the type of this research was descriptive. Then, the subject in this research was Islamic culture history teachers at MTS Masmur Pekanbaru. Meanwhile the object in this research was the implementation of Meta discovery learning in Islamic culture history lesson at MTS Masmur Pekanbaru. The data collection technique used observation method, interview and documentation. Based on data analysis result toward interview result with an Islamic culture history teacher at MTS Masmur Pekanbaru, it showed that from nine questions about the implementation of Meta discovery learning in Islamic culture history lesson at MTS Masmur Pekanbaru had been done well.
