Abstract

This research was motivated by lack of students’ ability in Al-Qur’an recitation. This research used correlation quantitative research. The problem focused on there was any influence of talaqqi Method on class XII students’ Al- Qur’an recitation ability at Islamic senior high school Al-Usmaniyah Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir Regency. The purpose in this research examined to know the talaqqi Method on class XII students’ Al-Qur’an recitation ability at Islamic senior high school Al-Usmaniyyah Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir regency. The subject used all class XII students at Islamic senior high school Al-Usmaniyah Bagan Batu. The population in this research was class XII students at Islamic senior high school Al- Usmaniyah in 55 students, 29 students from science class and 26 students from social class. This research consisted of two variables where talaqqi Method (variable X) and Al-Qur’an recitation ability (variable Y). This research finding showed that there was any influence of talaqqi method on students’ Al-Qur’an recitation ability. It could be seen from data computation result by using IBM SPSS statistic 22 for windows, that simple regression analysis was got significant score smaller than 0.05 where 0.024 < 0.05, and the hypothesis explained that there was any influence of talaqqi method on class XII students’ Al-Qur’an recitation ability at Islamic senior high school Al-Usmaniyah Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir Regency. The influence score about the influence between talaqqi method (variable X) had contribution in 16% on Al-Qur’an recitation ability (variable Y). Meanwhile, 84% Al-Qur’an recitation ability was influenced by others variables that was not conducted in this research. It meant that the influence of talaqqi method on students’ Al-Qur’an recitation ability at Islamic senior high school Al-Usmaniyah Bagan Batu Rokan Hilir Regency was in “very low� category.
